We concluded our two week stay in Sicily at this hotel. The building and grounds are lovely and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and accessible. The staff is especially friendly and professional. Rosanna and Giulia at the front desk and Lorenzo in the restaurant deserve special thanks for their courtesy and helpfulness.Overall, the hotel was the nicest of the hotels we stayed at in Sicily.
The hotel is some distance from the city center and the beaches down a fairly steep set of narrow roads. The walk down is doable but the way back may require a taxi for the less intrepid, especially after dark.

Just home from a wonderful stay at Hotel Alberi del Paradiso, on the outskirts of Cefalu in Sicily. Just an hour away from Palermo, the hotel sits nestled in the landscape just outside the medieval town, close enough to walk to the coast and old town. The hotel is located in its own grounds with lovely gardens, tennis court and a beautiful pool overlooking the countryside to the sea. The rooms have been refurbished with very modern en-suite shower room including a terrific rain shower as well as a hand-held one. The breakfast was always very fresh prepared fruit, cold meats and cheeses, and wonderful baked goods from their own bakery. Eating in the restaurant in the evenings was a delight: the food was beautifully prepared, the menus appetising with unusual pairings of flavours, and cooked to a very high standard. We ate there on several evenings and had a great experience every time. Alessandro, the manager of the restaurant, was extremely professional and his team were highly trained and worked well together. It was always superb to eat there.
Eating in the medieval town was also a chance to enjoy the beautifully prepared meals at the restaurants which specialised in high quality cuisine. This was definitely Sicily at its best. We went to Cefalu especially to enjoy the food and wines and were never disappointed.
Cefalu is a quaint town with lots of very old buildings, churches etc. Wandering around, soaking up the atmosphere and watching the world go by - it was a lovely way to have a ‘city/beach break. We would love to go there again.

After two weeks traveling the entire coast of Sicily by car, we ended our visit here and wished we ever spending the entire visit in this lovely, modern, well running and welcoming hotel by the sea. The entire experience was a pleasure, from the cheerful, helpful welcome to the generous, farewell. Rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculate and offer one of the best showers I’ve ever used. Sheets are high thread count and there is even equipment for making tea. A lovely balcony with comfortable chairs, a fine restaurant and the most friendly staff in all of Sicily make visiting here a pleasure. Over a welcome glass of fresh orange juice, a kind desk clerk explained hotel amenities and gave us clear simple directions for getting into the charming village from the hillside hotel. I plan to return to Sicily just to enjoy for longer all the features of this great hotel.

The bedroom had a beautiful view over Cefalu and was cleaned immaculately. The people on reception were well informed, on booking and during our stay. The waiters in the restaurant were so attentive and made our stay. The locally produced dishes were delicious. We hope to come again!
